  CLUB AND CLASS NEWS:   



  1. The BACC list for next year is posted outside Miss Stanton's office.  Initial next to your

          name that the listed program is correct.  See Miss Stanton during Flex with any concerns


  1. There will be a P7 Bible Club meeting tomorrow morning at 7:45 in Mrs. Campbell’s

           room, for anyone who would like to attend.


  1. Seniors need to turn in their personalized yearbook photos, before Spring Break to Mr.

          Kirkton.


  1. Congratulations to Ashley Spencer for receiving the Ashley Ritter Award, for the Most

         Promising Artist in McLean County.  She was awarded $150.00 and a medallion ribbon

         Saturday at the McLean County Arts Center Show.  Also selected to show in this

         prestigious competition were Alexis Nave, Austin Lopez, Gracie Burleson, Madelyn Lyle,

         Kirrsten Kindred and Skylar Stoller.  Congrats HHS Artists

 SPORTS AND ACTIVITY NEWS:

    

  1.       The Softball team have their first game, of the season, today at Delavan.  The game time

          is at 4:30 PM.

 

  1. Just a reminder, 7th Graders have their first track practice today.  Please meet in Mr.

         Kirkton’s room, after school.  



  CLUB AND CLASS NEWS:

           name that the listed program is correct.  See Miss Stanton during Flex with any concerns

 

  1. Help out our local food pantry and sign up to participate in our Heyworth vs Hunger

          Dodgeball tournament.  The tournament is April 25th at 5:00 PM.  The cost to play is

          only 3 items of canned or boxed food.  The cost to watch is either 3 food items or $3.00.

          The winning team will receive a cookie cake and bragging rights.  For more information

          about signing up, please contact Madisen Hall.

 

  1. Seniors need to turn in their personalized yearbook photos, before Spring Break to Mr.

          Kirkton.

 

  1. Grady's Family Fun Park is now hiring for summer help.  If interested, please pick up an

          application form that is located on the table outside of the office.

 

  1. Eastern Illinois University will be hosting a Junior Open House on Monday, March 25

         and of course, sophomores and freshmen are welcome to attend as well.  For more

         information please see Mr. Bradshaw.

 

  1. I still have several Senior packages, from Jostens, still down here in the office to be

         picked up. Please come down and pick yours up.

 SPORTS AND ACTIVITY NEWS:

    

  1.      The HS Baseball Team have a game at home today, against Henry, at 4:30 PM.

 

  1. The JV Baseball game against Peoria Notre Dame, has been CANCELLED.

 

  1. There will be a HS Boys’ Basketball meeting today, during Flex, for all

        players interested in playing basketball next year. The meeting will be held in the

        collaboration room.

  1. Attention, Junior High Students!  Be sure to order your yearbook by next Friday, March

           22nd. You may order online, or turn your order in at school.  See Mrs. Nelson if you

           have questions or need an order form. Also, 8th Graders, be sure to have your parents

           email a baby picture to Mrs. Nelson by March 22nd to be included on our Who's Who

           yearbook page.

    

  1. The Spring Break Countdown begins next week.  Let's go out showing some spirit!
