 SPORTS AND ACTIVITY NEWS:


  1. The Varsity Baseball team starts their Regionals today, at home, against Cornerstone.  The game start time is 4:30pm.

  1. The HS Track team have a meet at El-Paso today starting at 4:00pm.

  1. Congratulations to all of the JH State Track competitors from this weekend.  A special congratulations goes out to the 8th Grade Girls 4x200 Meter Relay team for not only BREAKING THE SCHOOL RECORD, with a time of 1:54.66, but placing 2nd in the process. The relay members included Alyssa Company, Lucy Hawk, Reese Rapson, Emma Slayback, and Ashley Hanslow.  Great job ladies


  CLUB AND CLASS NEWS:        

           


  1.  If you would like to be a part of Heyworth’s new mentoring program, please see Mrs.

            Etheridge, our school social worker, for more details. She will be having an informational

            meeting on Friday, May 17th at 10:00am.


  1.  All Chromebooks are due on or before May 24th.  When you have finished your

            finals, please take your Chromebook and the cord to the Library for check in. ALL

            Chromebooks must be returned.


  1. Attention all Seniors:  Tuesday is your last day of full attendance.  Wednesday is senior

           exam day. Exams will be proctored in the collaboration room.  You are to report by 8:15

           to take all of your exams.  Once you have completed your exam, you may leave.


  1. There will be a P7 bible club meeting tomorrow morning at 7:45 in Mrs.

          Campbell’s room for anyone who would like to attend.


  1. Seniors!  Another advantage of turning in your Chromebook is that you will

         receive your Senior Sign to decorate for graduation.  No Chromebook, no sign, so

         turn yours in to the Library today!!!

  CLUB AND CLASS NEWS:

            Etheridge, our school social worker, for more details. She will be having an informational

            meeting on Friday, May 17th at 10:00am.

 

  1.  All Chromebooks are due on or before May 24th.  When you have finished your

            finals, please take your Chromebook and the cord to the Library for check in. ALL

            Chromebooks must be returned.

           weights are open to boy and girl students in grades 7-12 and open to ALL students, not

           just student athletes. Open weights are mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 6am to 715am

           starting now and running through the entire summer. If you have about questions please

           contact coach Logue or Mr. Hahn.

           Devon Butler, Zane Dalton, Brantley Evans, Garrett Houston, Sean Kurth, Jared

  1. There will be a Football meeting in Coach Logue’s room, on Monday, May 20th during Flex, for all students interested in playing football next year.

 

  1. The Softball team have a Regional game against Leroy, at home, today starting at

4:30pm.

 

  1. The HS Track Boys have their Sectional meet at Watseka today.  The meet starts at

           4:00pm.
