  SPORTS AND ACTIVITY NEWS: 


  1. The JV Football team has a game at Dee-Mack tonight, starting at 5:30pm.

  1. The JH Cross Country have a meet today in El Paso-Gridley starting at 4:30pm.

  1. The HS Volleyball team have a game today in Tremont starting at 5:30pm.


   CLUB AND CLASS NEWS:       

 

  1. Wanted! High school students interested in joining a chess club. Please sign up in the 

           Office. The Chess club is seeking used chess sets and the Mentor group is seeking 

           games. Please take donations to Mrs. Etheridge's office.


  1. 2Attention students involved in the musical: If you want to attend Theatre Fest at ISU in  

           January - pick up a form outside Mrs. Hackney's room. The cost and $50 must be turned 

           in by Monday Oct. 7th. See Mrs. Hackney for questions.

 

  1. Attention Students:  A Josten’s Rep will be at Heyworth HS to take all senior graduation 

           orders on Wed., Oct. 2nd during lunch.  Please bring a $60 down payment or check your 

           packet for 3 payment options!  Please contact Josten’s with any questions.

 

  1.   Attention, junior high students.  The first dance of the year is October 4, from 7:00-9:00 

           PM in the cafeteria.  The theme is "Falling Back".  Dress in style of one of the decades of 

           the 1900's. The cost is $4.  Buy your ticket at the door.

 

  1.   There will be a meeting for all members of National Honor Society at 7:45 on Wednesday

            in the library.

            school lunch.

  1. With a season best 75, Bode Wicklander places 3rd in the HOIC tournament and is named to the All Conference Team.Congratulations Bode!! The team placed 7th overall.

          help pay for prom and will roll over to help fund the senior trip.  The more people that 

          volunteer to help, the easier our jobs will be!"

  1.  Please remember that you need to charge your chromebooks every night.  Plug them in 

            when you plug your phones in.
