November 11 th, 2019

Sports and Activity:

Junior High girls interested in volleyball may sign up in Mr. Robertson’s room before or after school this week;.

Club and Class News:

There will be a representative from MTI here today during HS lunch.

Ms. Harris is recruiting for the 2020 Scholastic Bowl Team. If you are interested in
playing? Stop by the library to sign up today.

ATTENTION STUDENTS:
World Kindness Day is celebrated annually on November 13th. On this day, participants attempt to make the world a better place by celebrating and promoting good deeds and pledging acts of kindness. This year there will be a GIANT heart in the high school and in the junior high. When you perform an act of kindness please write what you did on a sticky note and post it on the giant heart. If you see someone doing something nice for someone you can post it! Let's fill the heart! That being said, shout out to Jake McGowen for holding the door open this morning for several students in this cold snowy weather.

There will be an England trip parent meeting tonight at 5:30 in the library.

There will be a Veterans Day assembly today during flex. You will go to your 8th hour flex and then will be released from there.

LUNCH TODAY: BBQ pork riblet on a bun, potato wedges, baked beans, warm cinn apples, and fresh veggies.

  1.  There is a JH boys basketball game at home tonight vs Mt. Pulaski at 5:30


  1.  There is a JH girls basketball 7th grade SVC game at LeRoy at 7pm tonight.

3. There is a Superintendent’s Advisory Council meeting today in the board room in the junior high.  (Mr. Hahn’s old room, by Mrs. Massman)

4. The Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution recognize two seniors for outstanding character, leadership, and patriotism.  Congratulations to Ryan Hickenbottem and Levi Neuleib!

LUNCH TODAY: French Toast Sticks, Sausage Patty, Breakfast Potatoes, and 100% Fruit Juice!
