Announcements For The Week Of December 2-6, 2019

Sports and Activity:

1. Attention: athletes not in a winter sport. Starting today, Coach Updegraff will begin hosting open gyms after school for athletes interested in getting faster and stronger. All high school athletes are welcome. These sessions will typically last no more than 1 hour. If interested, please meet in Coach Updegraff's room at 3:20pm on Monday, or talk to Coach Updegraff. Make sure that you bring workout clothes and running/gym shoes as we will begin workouts that day.

2. High school girls basketball have a game tonight at Fieldcrest at 5:30pm

3. Junior high boys basketball have a game tonight at CEL Lincoln at 5pm

4. 7th and 8th grade girls vb players, please see Mr. Robertson sometime today to pick up your practice schedule.

Club and Class News:

1. The Jostens rep will be at your school to deliver your class
jewelry on tomorrow. You may bring cash or check that day or pay online prior to delivery day using the postcard and emailed invoice. Students on the JPAY Payment Plan in good standing will receive their ring! Any student may place an order for a class ring that day, or use this day as a service day to get your class ring repaired or resized. JOSTENS WILL ALSO BE TAKING ORDERS FOR SENIORS THAT DIDN’T GET THEIR ORDER IN AND FOR LETTER JACKETS. Please contact Jostens with any questions.

2. Junior High scholastic bowl starts tomorrow (Dec. 3) in the conference room next to Mrs. Massmans room in the junior high. Please bring your chromebook and permission slips. Ask Ms. Harris if you have any questions.

Sports and Activity:

1. 7th and 8th grade girls vb players, please see Mr. Robertson sometime today to pick up your practice schedule.

2. There is a HS Boys basketball game tonight at 5:30 . The theme of the game is “Frat Boy.” If you dress up with the theme of the night then you don’t have to pay to get in. Student council will be giving prizes for best dressed. Come support the team!!

5. Longhorn Smokehouse dinner January 17th 4:30-6:30 in the junior high wing. Tickets are sold by the junior class with all proceeds going towards after prom 2020. If anyone wants tickets to purchase or sell, please reach out to Denise Carlton, Michelle Wills or any parent in the junior class.

6. Any junior high student who wants to join Junior High Scholastic Bowl team should meet in the conference room next to Mrs. Massman's room at 3:15 today afternoon school for our first meeting. We will also have another practice on Thursday at 3:15. If you cannot make it, but are still interested in being on the team, please email Ms. Harris.

If you are going on the field trip today the teachers will release you at 8:50 if they are done with instruction.  The bus will leave at 9am.
