  8th graders...pull out your Book Fair Bingo Cards and I'll call out some titles at the end of today's announcements

 

Sports and Activity: 

1. The Cross Country Team has its last home meet today at 4:30.  Please come out for senior night.

 

2. The JH boys and girls cross country team have their sectionals  meet today at Olympia today beginning at 4pm.

 

 Club and Class News:

1. Are you receiving Library Overdue notices in your school email?  Do you want those to stop?  Stop by the library and talk to us...we'll get you sorted out! 

 

2     There is a Remote Learning Day tomorrow, Oct. 14 for grades 7-11

           The seniors will be taking the  SAT test tomorrow. Please report here by 8am.

Sports and Activity: 

  •  Congratulations to the Jr. High Girls Cross Country Team for winning the Sectionals as a team.  Natalie Bierbaum won first place setting a new Heyworth JH school girls record , Dani Strunk finished 4th,  and Kyra Denning finished 5th.  Dani and Kyra also broke the previous school record that had been set by Stephie  Brown.

 

 Club and Class News:

  •  Attention all Student Advisory Council Members :  Just a reminder that you will be  helping with the new gym ribbon cutting ceremony  this afternoon.  

 

  LUNCH TODAY  : Biscuits and Gravy, Sausage Patty, Breakfast Potatoes, Warm Cinnamon Apples, and a Fruit Juice.
