Heyworth Family,

I am honored and excited to serve as Assistant Principal at Heyworth Elementary in my hometown community. Having lived in Heyworth my entire life, I am a proud graduate of Heyworth schools, attending from kindergarten through 12th grade. During my school years, I was involved in athletics, marching band, speech, and musicals. As a third-generation Heyworth resident, my roots run deep in this community, and I care deeply about the people who make it such a special place. I look forward to giving back and making a positive impact on the students and families of Heyworth.

I am currently in my eighth year in education, with experience teaching both fourth grade and special education. Before entering the field of education, I spent 14 years working in corporate Human Resources. This combination of educational and business experience has shaped my leadership style and provides me with a unique perspective as I support students, staff, and families.

One of my primary goals as Assistant Principal is to strengthen the connection between home and school. I believe that strong partnerships between families and educators are essential to student success. I am committed to building positive relationships, maintaining open communication, and working collaboratively with our families to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.

I look forward to meeting and working with all of you as we continue to make Heyworth Elementary a place where every child can succeed.
