Welcome to junior high!
I attended Eastern Illinois University and earned certifications in both Special and Elementary Education. Upon graduation, I continued on into my Masters program at EIU. In addition, I worked toward an endorsement in gifted education prior to being relocated to Heyworth. I have diverse experiences teaching in gifted education, general education, and special education from PreK through grade 12.
All 3 of my kids attended Heyworth schools, participated in many school activities, and we have been blessed to be called Hornets! Together with my family, we love traveling to fun new places, seeing beautiful new places, and spending time together with friends.
I believe we ALL have learning and growing to do each day. I learn new things myself everyday! I am excited to step on the path toward new discoveries, bright futures, and hopefully a fun journey in learning together here at HUSD#4.
