Following Spring Break we will be piloting a new Safe Walking Routes program. Our goal is to have more students walking and riding their bikes in a safe manner when the weather is cooperative. We are working with the Village of Heyworth to paint crosswalks and identify the safe routes as outlined on the map that is attached with this letter. Please encourage your children to get some extra physical activity and use the safe routes established in your neighborhood. Later this year, we will be asking students and families for feedback on this program.
